Materials & Structural Advantages

Every MegaDome Fabric Storage Building is built with top-tier materials, specifically chosen to endure the most demanding Canadian environments. Central to the structure is a durable, high-density polyethylene fabric, precision-welded in our own facility to ensure strength and longevity. This advanced fabric is engineered to resist tearing—a puncture won’t spread—and can be quickly repaired using patch tape or an extra welded layer, minimizing downtime and maintenance costs.

The backbone of our buildings is the steel truss frame, available in your choice of arched or peaked roof profiles. For added durability and visual appeal, frames can be manufactured using oval structural steel. To combat corrosion, especially in challenging environments like salt storage or humid agricultural zones, components are hot-dip galvanized and may also receive a protective epoxy coating.

Our fabric exterior provides more than just coverage—it creates a naturally lit, energy-efficient interior. The translucent cladding diffuses daylight evenly, reducing the need for artificial lighting. Inside, temperatures are typically moderated by up to 10°C cooler in the summer and 10°C warmer in the winter, even without active heating or cooling. When required, insulation and climate control systems can be easily integrated.

For agricultural applications, we offer an exclusive Canadian-developed membrane that transmits roughly 30% of natural light. This makes it ideal for livestock, crop storage, or equipment protection—enhancing animal comfort, reducing stress, and supporting productivity in a variety of farming environments.
