The AIM – American Iron Metal project in Montreal, QC, involves two MegaDome fabric buildings sized at 60′ x 48′ and 40′ x 42′. These structures are designed to integrate with an existing conventional building, providing a protected environment for the new automotive station with additional features for ventilation and weather protection for optimal recycling operations.
AIM MTL’s objective was to protect their new automotive station. A conventional building already covered an insulated and heated area. The remaining section had to be protected from the elements, as well as fit with the existing conventional building.
